HUNTINGTON STATION, NY, July 24, 2022 – South African-born songwriter and musician Toby Tobias shares his story of hope during a time of war and upheaval in JOURNEY FROM JOHANNESBURG, performing at the prestigious Jeanne Rimsky Theater at Landmark on Main Street, in Port Washington, NY, on August 10, 2022.


Landmark on Main Street, Inc. is a collaboration of civic-minded individuals, government, business, and not-for-profit organizations all sharing the belief that a community’s commitment to a richer cultural, recreational, civic, educational and social life and the celebration of diversity benefits the quality of life for all.

The Landmark has hosted such well-known acts as Marc Cohn, Rickie Lee Jones, Cowboy Junkies, Jorma Kaukonen, Joan Osbourne, Ben Folds, Keb Mo, Ani Di Franco, Loudon Wainwright, Rufus Wainwright, Taj Mahal, Suzanne Vega, and many, many others.


JOURNEY FROM JOHANNESBURG has played at The Holocaust Memorial & Tolerance Center of Nassau County, The Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts, as well as colleges, libraries, community centers and houses of worship across North America.
